Meet Phaisal
Residing in Malé City, the capital of the Maldives, Hassan Faisal Mohamed is a professional photographer and videographer with nearly a decade of experience in luxury hospitality visual storytelling. Founded in the Maldives in 2016, “Phaisal Photos” is led by Faisal alongside a small yet highly skilled creative team specializing in commercial resort marketing, photography, cinematography, and aerial production.
Combining creativity, passion, and refined visual direction, Faisal specializes in architectural, lifestyle, experiential, food, and drone photography across the Maldives’ world-renowned resort industry. His signature style blends colorful, energetic imagery with cinematic atmosphere, capturing the beauty and emotion of luxury destinations at their finest.
Having collaborated with leading luxury resorts including Patina Maldives, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa, and Amilla Maldives, Faisal has developed a strong understanding of hospitality branding and luxury resort marketing. Having visited and worked across more than 100 resorts throughout the Maldives, he brings extensive destination knowledge and creative expertise to every project.
Driven by innovation and attention to detail, Faisal works with the latest photography, cinema, and drone technology to deliver high-quality imagery and films tailored to each brand’s identity. A full-time professional since 2014, he is recognized as one of the Maldives’ leading resort photographers and visual storytellers, known for capturing rare moments of extraordinary light, atmosphere, and emotion.
