Professional photography Tips & timeline for a wedding in Maldives
I am a professional photographer working with couples who visit Maldives for photo shoots and video shoots. Having done these two very important tasks, I thought to give some tips for people who want to come Maldives.
Bridal Details
Every bride loves having those beautiful shots of her bridal details. its an important part of the story and I love having some time to shoot dress, shoes, jewelry ETC.
these shots allow me to get warmed up for the rest of the big day. I normally like to allow at least 20-30 minutes for this part of the day. while am shooting details, I’m also capturing some shot of the bride and her girls getting ready!
if the groom is getting ready will begin photographing the boys close to 10-15 minutes for the first look it always has taken them less time to get dressed!
after the details have been photographed its time for the bride to get into her dress! this is a big moment usually ask the bridesmaids to be dressed by the time he is ready to get into dress this ensures that everyone will look nice in those images after the bride is in her down, she can put on her jewelry, veil, shoes, etc. and will shoot some additional bridal portraits !
first look
this is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day! I will find the perfect location for my couples first look prior to the getting ready portion of the day! don’t stress about one bit! after the bride and groom take their time with the first look,
I will begin taking romantic porters of the two of them different locations after this bride and groom can rest before the wedding ceremony.
Reception details
Now its time for the reception I will use this time to shoot the reception decon the .if the ceremony and reception are in different locations, I recommend having a cocktail hour outside to the main reception area if possible so that I can grab some great shots of the reception.
ceremony
it’s time to get married!! most ceremonies are 10-30 minutes in Maldives. if your ceremony is long er then 30 minutes will make adjustments to the timeline cherish these moments your ceremony will pass by so quickly!
Family portraits
family formals normally take place immediately following the ceremony . its best to save all the family formals until fever the casual all family member will be present at that time.
A few “ just married “ portraits
this is the best time of day for a portrait in the late spring, summer and early fall 11 this when the sun is gloomy and holden. I love having a few extra minutes with the bride and groom for this session.
